Start with the finished pack
Before choosing a machine, decide how the finished product should be presented. A roll-film bag and a ready-made pouch begin with different packaging materials and require different handling.
Vertical form-fill-seal equipment unwinds film, forms it into a bag, fills the product, seals and cuts the finished pack. Premade pouch equipment starts with separate pouches and performs pouch feeding, opening, filling and sealing.
Where vertical packaging fits
The vertical equipment in our range includes volumetric cup, multihead weighing, auger and piston-filling arrangements. The dosing system changes with the material: a suitable free-flowing granule is handled differently from a fine powder or thick sauce.
A vertical machine may be combined with feeding and discharge equipment. When comparing configurations, look at the complete path from material supply to the finished bag, including any operator involvement.
- Confirm the roll-film structure and required bag dimensions.
- State the target weight or volume and the material characteristics.
- Identify whether feeding, coding and finished-pack discharge are part of the required scope.
Where premade pouches fit
A premade pouch system uses an existing pouch rather than forming the entire bag from film. The equipment in our range includes granular, powder, liquid and paste filling configurations.
Some listed configurations are described for stand-up or zipper pouches. The actual pouch shape, dimensions, opening and seal area still need to be checked against the selected machine. The term premade pouch alone does not establish compatibility.
- Provide a sample pouch or a clear drawing with dimensions.
- Describe the closure and the desired filling level.
- Check the filling arrangement for the actual material.
Compare the actual configurations
A useful comparison considers packaging material, changeover needs, production requirements, available space and operator tasks. Speed and dosing performance depend on the selected machine and the application; they should be agreed under defined conditions.
If you have not decided on a package, share examples of the finished packs you are considering. This gives a more useful starting point than selecting by a machine photograph alone.
